A Map’s Flow

How is any map connected to its territory? By the person who flows through both at once.

Or at least, the person who attempts it.

If the map has changed, or the territory has changed, or the person has changed – then the flow will be vulnerable to rupture. Or interruption.

And of course, change is the only true constant.

But regardless, without the person the map is meaningless.

Nothing but scribbles on a page.

For meaning lies behind the symbols, not in them.

Love lies in the singer, not the song.
