The Rogue’s Code

When maneuvering in an arbitrarily complex and chaotic environment:

Do whatever you believe must be done – so long as it can be easily undone.

If it cannot be undone, or if undoing your actions will require a nontrivial effort, then proceed with caution.

Or take steps to ensure that your actions become easier to undo over time.

Otherwise you will always suffer the wounds of time’s arrow.
