Do whatever you believe must be done – so long as it cannot be easily undone.
If it can be undone, or if undoing your actions will require only a trivial effort, then proceed with caution.
Or take steps to ensure that your actions become more difficult to undo over time.
Otherwise you will always suffer the wounds of time’s arrow.
