Dude you kinda ruined Hamilton for everyone who actually cared.
The only decent rhyme in the whole show might be [Burr, sir / bursar]. And even that gets way overplayed…
Ultimately, the show cannot escape the fact that it is a form of emotionally exculpatory literature designed to soothe the liberal guilt of its upper-middle-class audience.
The show simply isn’t made for the people who’s voices it claims to amplify and defend. And even that claim is only by casting, not content.
(Also, dude… maybe let a more talented singer/actor take the lead? I feel like if you cared about your art you wouldn’t sacrifice the title role in an act of shameless self-promotion.)
